Ship ahoy!

If you decide to come to Ibiza by sea, you will have several possibilities from where you can
leave the mainland (Barcelona, Valencia and Denia) or Mallorca (Palma de Mallorca) and travel
to our island.
The two harbours of destination are Ibiza town (Eivissa) and San Antonio (Sant Antoni Portmany).

Ferry travel is one of the slower modes of transport available to the modern tourist. In the past
a ferry trip from Barcelona took approximately 9 hours - sometimes a stop at Mallorca island
increased that time. However, times have changed! Balearias new high-speed route connects Barcelona
and Ibiza in just four hours! Since June 2004, Balearia offers this new super fast ferry.
We recommend to take a taxi for the transfer to your hotel. In both harbours you will find a taxi
rank close to the ferry terminal.
Click the button "location - maps and directions" on the left or
HERE to get more information on the way from the harbour to the hotel.
