If you decide to come to Ibiza by air, your destination airport is Ibiza [IBZ]. Ibiza airport [IBZ] is the major gateway for most visitors. It is connected by daily domestic flights (30 to 55 minutes) from the Spanish mainland (Alicante [ALC], Barcelona [BCN], Madrid [MAD] and Valencia [VLC]) or the neighbouring islands of Mallorca (Palma de Mallorca [PMI]) and Menorca [MAH] all year round. From spring till autumn the island is also served by international scheduled, charter and low cost flights (2 to 3 hours) from most major European cities.

Our special advice: Did you know that very often flights of scheduled airlines (eg BMI, Lufthansa Italia, Swiss and Spanair) are much cheaper than so-called low-cost carriers? You should certainly compare all prices and consider to buy two separate tickets (eg Leeds Bradford-Barcelona with BMI and Barcelona-Ibiza with Spanair).

On the Web sites of most airlines you will not find all possible connections because they intend to sell their own services only.
