The ancient Greeks and Romans saw the sea as a source of enjoyment... and danger - a big bathtub that with sea monsters waiting at the bottom. On the beaches of Ibiza you will find enjoyment, however, most sea monsters were turned into sirens wearing bikinis. More than 18 km or 11 miles of beaches await you on the island of Ibiza, allowing you to choose the atmosphere, the winds and the activities you wish to practise in any of them. In June 2004 a record number of beaches have been awarded the European Blue Flags for cleanliness in what is being hailed as a boost for tourism in Ibiza! A total of 12 resort beaches received the eco-label for the highest standards of bathing water quality and beach management. The Blue Flags are awarded by FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), an environmental campaigns group which organises this programme.

The Florida Centre - Hotel & Apartments with its Hotel Florida, Apartamentos Puerto San Antonio and Apartamentos Solymar is situated just in front of beach of 'Es Regueró' which is also known as the beach of San Antonio or the beach of s'Arenal.
